Our Community
Franciscan Court can accommodate residents in affordable, recently renovated Studio, One-Bedroom Suite, Two-Bedroom Suite, and Companion Occupancy apartments. Each is inclusive, reasonably priced and beautifully appointed within a comfortable, home-like atmosphere that is newly decorated throughout.
A Family Owned Business
Zack and Rene Caulkins opened Franciscan Court Supportive Living in 2005 with a vision to provide older adults with the best that life can offer in physical, emotional, social and spiritual health and well-being. A family-owned and operated community, Franciscan Court was the first supportive living community in DuPage County. Both Zack and Rene have extensive experience in senior care administration and Rene is a registered nurse as well.
Located on the north side of West Chicago, 38 miles west of downtown Chicago near the historic St. Andrew’s Golf and Country Club and popular Sonny Acres Farm, Franciscan Court retained the name of the street on which we are located, Franciscan Way.
Connections and Character of Home and Family
Franciscan Court has none of the impersonal feel of a larger facility and all of the comforts, connections, and character of home and family. Each resident is known personally by staff who are familiar with their likes, dislikes, and daily routines. Our community offers residents expert, professional care tailored to their individual needs and abilities. People live here in the comfort and confidence of knowing they are receiving the best of care from knowledgeable registered nurses, attentive certified nursing assistants, and frequently visiting medical specialists. And because we understand that complete health and well-being includes regular social interaction, activities, outings and connections to the broader community, residents benefit from good friends and good fun every day.
Franciscan Court has no specific religious affiliations and welcomes all residents. It also has none of the impersonal, institutional feel of a larger facility and all the comforts, connections and character of home and family. Each of our residents is know personally by our staff, who are familiar with and attentive to their background, likes, dislikes, and daily routines.
